Florence "Flo" Bishop was born on January 7, 1929 in Comstock, MN to Rudolph and Milla (nee Amundson) Corneliussen. She died Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Vernon Hills.

Mrs. Bishop worked as a Senior Records Clerk for Bloomingdale Police Dept. for 15 years. Flo loved bird watching, playing cards and bingo but most of all she loved hugs. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was loved by all.

Florence is survived by her children, Lawrence (Kara) Bishop, Keith (Starr) Bishop and Jennifer (Al) Uzumcu; grandchildren, Lisa (Darren) Hubartt, Heather Bishop, Andrea (Paul) McCoy, Jessica Bishop, Alexander Uzumcu, Alyssa Uzumcu, Kaitlyn Bishop, and Christopher Bishop; great-grandchildren, Paul McCoy, Levi McCoy, Ryder McCoy, Brayden Hubartt, Talyn Ambris and Olyvia Ambris; siblings, Ruth (the late Roald) Dolva, Marvin (the late Mavis) Corneliussen and Judy (Dave) Vigesaa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bishop; her parents; siblings, Ernest (Betty) Corneliussen, Darlene (Ronald) Gemlich, Ralph (Sharon) Corneliussen Margaret (Dean) Iwen, and Millie Elizabeth Corneliussen.

Visitation Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd. (capacity limits, PPE requirement, and social distancing in effect), 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 5, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Arlington Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
