Florence V. Miller

Florence was the beloved wife to the late Leo “Larry” Miller; loving mother to Tom (Nanette) Miller and Robert Miller; and predeceased by her dear siblings Stella (late Joseph) Ramel, Lillian (late Stanley) Adamski, Al (late Dorothy) Polak, Frank (late Clara) Polak, Helen (late Fred) Starzyk, and Florence (late Larry) Miller; and fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Florence was an amazing mother to not only her own kids but many others. She was a scout Den mother and loved attending her children’s baseball games. When the neighborhood kids wanted to come over and play in the pool she acted as a lookout to ensure everyone had fun and stayed safe.

In her free time, she enjoyed playing the organ, going for walks around Lake Arlington, vacationing in Mexico and playing scrabble and bridge with friends. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

A church visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at St Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. The funeral mass will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Edna’s. Following mass everyone is invited to join the family for a luncheon at Palm Court, 1912 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. After the luncheon, the committal is scheduled for 2:30 PM on Friday, May 15, at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL, 60016. If you would like to attend the committal we will be meeting at the main entrance off of River Road of All Saints Cemetery, please arrive no later than 2:30 PM.
