Floyd Kaye

I am heartbroken to announce the death of my father Floyd Henry Kaye. He died unexpectedly at the age of 85. My dad enjoyed being with family, his dogs, his garden, and his train collection. He was also proud to service his country in the United States Air Force. He leaves behind his wife, Ann Shanley Kaye; his daughter Michelle ( John Sauber ) Guajardo; his step children Mark (Kathy) Shanley, Mary Lou Fajman, Kate Best, Jean (Larry) Appel, Thomas Shanley, Margaret (Perry Canerstraro) Curtin and Elizabeth Shanley; grandchildren Tyler (Allison), Emilee, Jessica, William, Karen, Margaret (Matt), Rosemary, Matthew, Danielle, Jayce, Joshua, Aaron (Jessica), Molly, Lauren, Charlie, Michael, Patrick and Samantha; his great grandchildren Aurora and Rupert.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Henry and Gertrude Kaye.

Floyd was loved and cherished by his huge family. He will be missed at every celebration. We were lucky to have a full lifetime of happy memories and joyous celebrations - all of which Grandpa Floyd played a significant role.

Rest in peace Grandpa - we already miss you so much! You will forever be in our thoughts and prayers!

Visitation Friday, December 9, 2022 at Our Lady of the Wayside, 440 S. Mitchell Avenue, Arlington Heights, from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass at 11am. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
