Frank Dominick Napoli

Frank, Dominick Napoli, 89, of Buffalo Grove, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in the early morning hours of October 21, 2023. Frank, born September 10, 1934, in Harvey, Illinois, was the seventh of eleven children born to Frank and Edna (nee Schulz).

After High School he joined the Army where he served his country proudly, and picked up the stories he would regale his family and friends with for the rest of his life.

He was a life-long White Sox fan, enjoyed golfing and bowling, and was an avid card player to the end.

He is mourned by his wife Judith (nee Cedzidlo) of 64 years, their children Scott, Craig, Susan (Rudy) Picchietti, Todd, and Frank (Anna); their grandchildren, Teresa, Alyson, Elayna (Andrew New), Matthew, Michael, Lisa (Maddie Mercado), Angela (John) Maki, Christopher, Eric, Anthony, Taylor, Gianna, Samantha, TJ, Stella, and Frank; and their great-grandchildren, Michael and Grace Maki, Jolene, Joshua, and Jordan Napoli-Mercado; his sisters, Grace, Mary, and Linda; and his many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his siblings Eugene, John, Charles, Janet, Phyllis, Marjorie, and Nancy.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Prayers 9:00 am, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from the Funeral Home proceeding to St. Mary Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove for Mass at 10:00 am. Private Interment at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
