Franklin O'Connell

Franklin O'Connell was born on November 7, 1935 in Austin, Texas, to Harry and Drusilla O'Connell. He died on December 4, 2018 at Northwest Community Hospital.

He was the husband of Ruth O'Connell, loving father of Kevin, Timothy (Alicia) O'Connell, and Jennifer (Mark) Swanson. Loving grandfather to Kara, Jack, Callie, Jacob, Clay, Ty, Andrew, and Anna O'Connell, Bradyn, Brooke, Cole and Kaley Swanson; brother of John (Ruth) and Robert O'Connell and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Thomas O'Connell.

Frank served in the US Army from 1955-1957. He worked for Continental Insurance and Allstate Insurance. He was a member of the Orchard Evangelical Free Church and the Republicans of Wheeling Township. Throughout his life, he enjoyed playing golf and baseball.

Visitation from 3:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL, and from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Orchard Evangelical Free Church, 1330 N. Douglas, Arlington Heights, IL.
