Gail L. Anderson, 78 of Mt. Prospect was born September 27, 1937 in Melrose Park to the late George and Ruth (nee Arrighi) Berg and passed away June 1, 2016. Gail was the beloved wife of Roger E. Anderson and the late Phillip K. Heinking; loving mother of Jill Heinking and Kurt (Laura) Heinking; cherished grandmother of Alicia Schueller, Karla Heinking, Kyle Heinking and Samantha Heinking and dear sister of Terry (Chloe) Berg. Gail was an employee of the Daily Herald, in the classified ad department and retired with 20 years of service. She also enjoyed showing off her classic 1956 Chevy Bel Aire at local car shows. Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2016 from 5-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Family and friends will gather at 12:45 PM on Saturday, June 4 at Northwest Covenant Church, 300 N. Elmhurst Avenue, Mt. Prospect for funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
