Genevieve A. Lagod of Arlington Heights Prayers for Genevieve A. Lagod (nee Shahoda), 96, will be said at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, proceeding to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 450 S. Mitchell St., Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at the funeral home. Born March 6, 1914, in Chicago, she died Dec. 8, 2010, at Sunrise Assisted Living, Barrington. Genevieve was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Lagod; loving mother of Jerome (Linda) Lagod, and the late Alice L. (Robert) Hoffman; cherished grandmother of Max Lagod, Matthew Lagod, Melissa Lagod, Jill Hoffman, and the late Randall Hoffman; and dear sister of the late Theodore Shahoda.
