Mr. Kratt, Mr. Nevern and Mr. Lowe all served as US Servicemen, Mr. Nevern and Mr. Lowe in the US Army and Mr. Kratt in the US Navy. As Veterans, each will be inurned in the Columbarium at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL on Wednesday June 24. A committal ceremony for each will take place starting at 12:30 pm (Mr. Nevern, Date of Death 2/21/2001) 1pm (Mr. Kratt, Date of Death 10/3/1983) and 1:30pm (Mr. Lowe, Date of death 4/1/2007). Mr. Nevern served in Korea. The remains of these three veterans have been unclaimed. Their service entitles them to the earned benefits of military honors and inurnment at a National Cemetery. All members of the public are invited to witness the military honors and the committal of their remains to the Columbrium at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery.
