George C. Mathew, born on January 15, 1954, peacefully entered eternal rest on January 25, 2024. George's life was a testament to love, family, and the enduring bonds he shared with those around him.

George was a beloved husband to his devoted wife, Saly Mathew. Together, they forged a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments that will forever remain etched in the hearts of their family.

As a loving father, George leaves behind his children: Matthew George, Thomas George, and Elizabeth George. His guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support profoundly influenced his children, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

George's legacy extends further through his cherished family. He is survived by his son-in-law, Carlos Rivera, and his daughters-in-law, Rincy George and Neethu George. The bonds of family were of paramount importance to George, and he embraced these new connections with open arms, treating them as his own.

George was a proud and loving grandfather to Isabella George, Benjamin George, Hannah George, Sarah George, Alyssa Rivera, Addison Rivera, Camilla George, Bianca George, and Sheyona Prasanath. His heart would light up with joy at the sound of his grandchildren, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

George's life bore witness to hard work, dedication, and love. His career as an attorney was marked by excellence and a strong work ethic. Even after facing complex medical conditions and complete blindness, he continued to strive and support his family in every possible way.

A funeral service to celebrate George's life will be held at 1:00 pm on January 31, 2024, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004. The Mathew family will receive guests from Noon until the time of the service. The family invites friends and loved ones to join in honoring his memory and sharing stories of the remarkable man he was.
