Georgian Kunde

Of Arlington Heights

Georgian was born October 29, 1935 in Chicago to George and Anna (nee Raschka) Heitz. She passed away July 17, 2023 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

She loved spending time with her family, especially when we were all together at the same time. She also enjoyed to crochet. Her specialty was making afghans. Every family member has at least one. She enjoyed spending summers at the family summer home in Lake Villa on Cedar Lake. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family, baking cheesecakes for family birthdays, and baking various sweet treats at the holidays. Since purchasing her condo at Luther Village, she enjoyed walking around the pond and watching the swans.

Georgian is survived by her children Kevin (Irina), Kurt (Julie) and Karen Kunde; her grandchildren Katie (Kyle), Kaitlyn (Jason), Kyle, Kurt Jr., Eva and Annalisa and by her niece and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harold W. Kunde; her siblings Richard (Marie) Zilka, Janet Heitz and George (late Louise) Heitz and by her parents.

Visitation Friday, July 21, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights and Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 10:00 AM at Glueckert Funeral Home. Interment Concordia Cemetery.
