Gerry was born in Knoxville, TN, on July 22, 1935, the son of Gregory Francis and Marie Florence (nee Nash) Curtin. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia "Pat" Curtin, and beloved children, Kathleen "Kathy" Curtin and Tyrone "Ty" (Heather) Curtin. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Joan (Ray) Cheek and brothers, Rev Gregory F. Curtin SJ and Kevin N. Curtin.
Gerry was the proud graduate of the University of Tennessee and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He completed the ROTC program and earned a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Gerry remained a devoted "Vols" fan throughout his life.
Gerry will be interred at Fort Sheridan National Cemetery with military honors.
