Gerard James “Jerry” Stevens was born August 20, 1918 in Edison Park to John C. and Helen V. (nee O’Donnell) Schniedwind. He died May 31, 2017 at Manor Care of Rolling Meadows.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 66 years, Charlotte A. (nee Lind) Stevens; children Margaret (Robert) Goodman, James (Debbie) Stevens, Thomas Stevens and Michael (Jeanette) Stevens; his grandchildren Mark Robert (Nichole), Thomas John “T.J.”, Christie A., Melanie, Sarah; his great grandson Mark Gregory and by many nieces and nephews.

Jerry is preceded in death by his daughter Darlene Stevens; his siblings John (late Lorraine) Schniedwind, Mary Louise Schniedwind, Louis (Sarah) Schniedwind and Robert (late Sue) Schniedwind.

Visitation Friday, June 2, 2017 from 9:00 AM until the time of mass at 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 700 S. Meier Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
