Gertraud was born to Martin and Irmgard Butzko. She was married to Holger I. Selck for 41 wonderful years. Together, they loved to travel and host many backyard parties and events .
A dedicated and hard-working presence throughout her life, Gertraud spent many years working in fashion retail, tending to her vegetable and flower garden with patience and pride, and baking with a practiced hand. Christmas cookies were her favorite.
Gertraud’s adventurous spirit also showed itself in her love of travel, particularly in the yearly trips she treasured to visit family in Germany.
Gertraud Selck was a dear friend to all her neighbors, She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity.
Gertraud was loved by many and be missed by all.
