Gladys June Bastiani was born June 15, 1927 in Chicago to Vincent and Jeanette (nee Bruns) Mousseau. She died May 22, 2019 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.

Gladys worked as an Executive Secretary for a home healthcare agency for over 10 years. Gladys worked was a waitress for many Chicago restaurants. She was an avid Bingo player. She was the life of the party. She was very charitable, supporting a number of various organizations. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Glady is survived by her daughter Jeanette (Richard) Bastiani-Zirngibl; her grandchildren Jennifer (Neil) Goheen, Richard IV, Jaclyn and Justine; her great grandchildren Nolan, Ava and Kyle; her nieces Janet and Laura.

Glady is preceded in death by her husband Alfio Bastiani; her siblings Vincent (late Dorothy), Winifred (late Warren), Clifford (late Adeline) and Robert and by her parents.

Visitation Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Salvation Army, 5040 N. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL 60630-2788.
