Glenys L. Evett, 79 was born April 15, 1933 in Chicago to the late John and Marie Griffiths and passed away January 26, 2013 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Glenys was the loving mother of Nancy L. (Tom) Arendarczyk and Jerry (Nancy) Evett; cherished grandmother of Paul (JoAnna) Arendarczyk, Lisa Arendarczyk and Nate, Zach, Meredith, Cassie, Stephanie and Susannah Evett; great grandmother of Jordan and T.J.; dear sister of Kathy (David) Nielsen, Joan (Doug) Nielsen and Susan (John) Bouril and former wife of George (Joan) Evett. Visitation Tuesday January 29, 2013 from 3-9 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home 2000 E. Northwest Hwy. Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said Wednesday January 30, 9:15 AM at the funeral and proceed to St. James Church 831 N. Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights for funeral mass at 10 AM.
