Gloria was born on June 7, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Sterner and Alma Lindroth. She attended William Howard Taft High School.
After graduation she worked as a reservationist for Trans World Airlines (TWA). While working for the airlines she had the opportunity to travel the world, enjoying many trips to countries in Europe, as well as Japan and Egypt. In addition, she loved taking trips to Hawaii, Alaska and many other states within the US.
Sharing stories of her adventures was her passion. Gloria also enjoyed reading, collecting recipes and spending time with family at the cottage on Lake Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sterner and Alma Lindroth; her sister and brother-in-law, Helen (Rene) Vaporis.
She is survived by her sisters, June Lindroth, Joy (James) Hojnacki as well as nieces and nephews.
The funeral services and burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, IL will be private.
