Known affectionately as “Grandma Grace” to many graduates of St. James School, she was a beloved lunch lady whose warmth, kindness, and caring spirit touched countless young lives.
Grace also treasured the many friendships she formed at the Arlington Heights, Prospect Heights and Palatine Senior Centers where she enjoyed exercise classes, Bunco, Bingo, and many memorable gambling boat outings.
She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ for many years where she volunteered and was always eager to find the best deals for whatever items the community’s clothing collections needed.
A visitation will be held at St. John United Church of Christ, 308 N. Evergreen Ave., Arlington Heights, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
