Greta Susan Hoffman (nee Mitchell)Of Buffalo GroveGreta was born on August 9, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Clarence Earl and Martha Carol (nee Burt) Mitchell. She died January 19, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, in Barrington.She was a Systems Consultant for ADP before purchasing "Clean As A Whistle" of Buffalo Grove. In 1998, she opened a florist, Designs by Carol, originally in Niles and now located of Mundelein with her husband, Kerry Lee Hoffman. She attended Quentin Road Baptist Church in Hawthorn Woods and was a faithful listener of that radio ministry. She was an avid reader and lover of crossword puzzles. Greta loved to read her Bible and spend time with her family and was cherished by all.Greta is survived by her husband Kerry, whom she married September 6, 1998 in Long Grove; children, Michael Edward Mitchell, Vincent Anthony Catino Jr., and Laura Hoffman; grandchildren, Elizabeth Mitchell, Michael Mitchell Jr., and Austin Mitchell; parents Clarence Earl and Martha Carol Mitchell; siblings, Ronda Lynn Hegedus, Donna Michelle (Deron) Hart, Tina Diane (Richard) Boutall, and Clarence Earl (Crystal) Mitchell, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alton Parker and Madeline (nee Clark) Mitchell and Thomas Wilson and Martha (nee Bloomfield) Burt.Visitation Friday, January 23, 2015, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd.,1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the funeral home.
