She died Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Northwest Community Hospital Midwest Palliative CareCenter in Arlington Heights.Hannelore worked as a Cost Accountant Supervisor for Littlefuse in Des Plaines, for 41 years.She loved to spend time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was loved by all.Hannelore is survived by her son, Volker (Patricia) Engel, grandchildren Heidi (Adam) Engel-Swiatek, Andreas (Sarah) Engel, and Kelsey (Valerie) Engel; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Harlow and Maxim Engel.She was preceded in death by her husband Edward B. May; her parents; siblings, Willi Ebeling, Ilse Ebeling Wichman and Rosemarie Ebeling Schroeder.Visitation Friday, November 7, 2014 from 11:00 am until the 11:45 am Funeral Service at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights.
