She died Monday, March 14, 2016 in Arlington Heights.Mrs. Simpson was a homemaker, and a long-time member and volunteer at St. James Church. She was a member of the St. James Women"s Guild and volunteered for Sisters of the Living Word." She lived her life for her family and her faith, and shared a deep love of all things Irish.Helen is survived by her children, Diane M. Simpson, John C. Simpson, Thomas J. (Betsey) Simpson, Mary Ellen Simpson, Janet M. (Robert) McCall and Charles F. (Nancy) Simpson; grandchildren, Jenna, Michael and Meghan Skwarek, Riley Simpson, Matthew McCall, Amelia and Ashleigh Simpson.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Francis Simpson; her parents; her sister Mary Gustafson and her brother Joseph Brennan.Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N.
