Irene C. Weirich was born on August 21, 1921 in Chicago to Joseph and Wanda (nee Jablonski) Zbylut. She died Sunday, December 15, 2019 in Des Plaines.

Mrs. Weirich worked as a secretary for Copy-Graph of Arlington for many years. She was a former member of St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. She loved to spend time with her family and was loved by all.

Irene is survived by children, Karen (Charlie) Zeller, Paul (Michele) Weirich, Thomas (Maribeth) Weirich, Elaine (Tony) Kopera, Kenneth Weirich, Philip (Marie-Jane) Weirich, John (Justyna) Weirich and Mary Lou (Glen) Sharapata; 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn (the Late Jim) Prochaska; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings.

Visitation Friday, January 3, 2020 from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. James Catholic Church, 831 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment is private.
