James Patrick Dever, Jr.

James Patrick Dever, Jr. was born April 29, 1927 in Chicago to James Patrick, Sr. and Josephine Theresa (nee Sullivan) Dever. He died February 1, 2023 at The Moorings in Arlington Heights.

James is survived by his wife Ida (nee Quintiliani) Dever; his children Stephen (Linda) Dever, Michael (Colette) Dever, Mary Dever, James “Daniel” Dever and Tavia (Stephan) Floyd, Aida (Roger) Guidice; his grandchildren Timothy (Kate), Peter (Lauren), Thomas, Kevin, Brian Meschick, Michelle (Angel) and Kristin (Nick); his 5 great grandchildren and by his sisters Eileen Barbe and Josephine (late Robert) Friedheim.

Jim is preceded in death by his first wife Betty (nee Enright) Dever and by his parents.

Visitation Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Glueckert Funeral Home to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment private.
