James R. Doman

James R. Doman was born on December 30, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Patricia (nee LaPak) Doman. He died on September 26, 2022 at Lee Manor in Des Plaines, Illinois.

James proudly worked for Abt TV & Appliances for over 30 years. He was an avid golfer, loved spending time with his family, cheering his grandsons’ on at their games and was a diehard fan of the White Sox.

Jim is survived by his wife of 49 years Susan (nee Bauer) Doman; his daughter Heather Ann Doman; his son James (Amy) Doman Jr.; his grandchildren Andrew and Jake Doman; his siblings John (Sandy) Doman, Rosemary (Donald) Johnson and Thomas (Denise) Doman; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Visitation Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 2:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:00 pm at the Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Special Olympics of Illinois 3000 Central Road, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008.
