We shared a long life together, Jimmy. You were my best friend and the love of my life at just 16 years old. We spent 26 years together and were blessed with the most beautiful children and grandchildren. Life may have taken us in different directions, but even in challenging times, when we saw each other, it was as if it were just the old Jim and Tre days. I’m grateful for our life together and the love we shared. The kids and I will always honor your life and treasure the memories you left us. Rest peacefully, Jimmy, until we are all together again. We love you.

To my oldest brother Jim,
      Even as I was yet to be born, you paved the way for me. You helped me without even realizing it. You were the first born boy and therefore you endured difficult things and pains I would never know, but knowing your heart, you would do it all again, for me.  I remember the earlier times, when I was young and how cool you were. That never faded but only grew as I did. As I grew up, we spent more time together. You taught me how to paint, we worked side by side for years. Looking back, I realize I learned that trade from the best! The pride in your work was evident from the attention to detail and the scrutiny you applied to me as my lesson continued. I'm grateful for that big brother.  As life went on, the challenges continued for us both but I could always rely on you for your clear breakdown of the issue I was facing and a reasoned, thought out answer to my questions which provided me resolution to that issue. I hope I was able to help you in some similar way. 
 We shared a love for nature, a passion for cooking and a friendship of a lifetime. Your wealth came from the relationships you cultivated, the friendships you built, the trust you  put in others and they put in you, the loyalty you gave to others and your big beautiful heart you shared with others. You touched many, many lives big brother. 
As we aged, we became closer and shared countless good times, a few cocktails, and many, many laughs. We helped each other and looked out for each other, You always had my back and protected me and I had yours. We are blessed to have many siblings and I know you would do anything for any one of us, and you did. We all loved you with all our hearts. You were like a father-figure to me, a best friend, a protector and my oldest brother. You are now with mom and the rest of the family that have been called home. Please give her a big hug for me and dad as well and watch over them until I see you again. I love you brother❤️

Great picture Jimmy. You had that enthusiastic smile the first time I met you while playing 4-square at Greenbriar Elementary. I enjoyed meeting up with you, Dave and Gary recently.

Dear Jimmy,
I have been very blessed to have you in my life for over thirty-five years. I always dreamed of having an older brother and you sure filled that role and then some. 
I will cherish the many parties, holidays, major life events, and the times that we shared during your many hours as our number one painter!

I will miss you dearly, as I think of you daily. Thank you for always
looking out for me when we were younger. We have shared more then just brotherly love together. You taught me your mechanical skills, and how to fix many things. Along with your gravy recipe! I will miss our weekly phone conversations  and laughs together.
