James M. Hoeft

James M. Hoeft was born on February 5,1955, in Chicago, IL to Elmer Hoeft and Jacqueline (nee Balata) Hoeft. He passed away on March 9, 2024, at Northwest Community Healthcare in Arlington Heights surrounded by his loving family.

Jim retired as a Catering Manager from the Rosemont Convention Center.

His hobbies included boating and spending time with his grandchildren while enjoying a cold Coca-Cola.

Jim is survived by his wife of 48 years Barbara Hoeft (nee Ladner); his children Thomas (Vanessa) Hoeft, Patrick (Lauren) Hoeft and Jacqueline (Scott) Paczosa; his grandchildren Trey Granada, Payton Hoeft, Brandon Hoeft, Kendall Hoeft, Beckett Paczosa, Avery Paczosa and Amelia Paczosa; he is also survived by his brothers Frank (Nellie) Hoeft and Bob (Cindy) Hoeft.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Visitation Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 9:00am until the time of the Memorial Mass at 10:00am at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Operation North Pole
