He died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his home.Mr. Marth graduated from Lane Tech High School in 1968, and from Illinois Institute of Technology in 1983 with a degree in Bachelor of Science Electrical and Mechanical Engineering." He was employed with Bodine Electric Company for 45 years, starting as a technician in 1970, working his way up to Vice President of Engineering.James was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers." Before his illness, he was an avid golfer and bowler, and lover of Old Style Beer." Jim was a devoted husband and a fiercely loyal father to Joseph who passed away on August 1, 2016.He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Monica (nee Ronkowski) Marth.Jim was preceded in death by his son Joe and by his parents.Visitation from 4:00 pm, until 9:00 pm, Friday, August 26, 2016, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N.
