James Patrick Morris

Of Chicago 

James Patrick Morris was born on February 17, 1940 in Chicago to Owen and Lillian (nee Shannon) Morris. He died Monday, June 11, 2018 in Chicago. 

Mr. Morris served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.  He worked as an International Banker for EXIM Bank in Miami, FL. James was a member of Old St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chicago.  He loved to spend time with his family, friends and was loved by all. 

James is survived by his spouse, of 7 years, Christina (nee Clark); children, Michelle (Ken) Meditz, James (Jennifer) Morris and Joseph (Katie) Morris; grandchildren, Shea Morris, Madison Morris, Owen Morris, Maeve Morris and Callan Morris; sister, Laura (Michael) Garrick; and niece, Amy Garrick. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and Georgia (nee O’Shea) Morris. 

Visitation Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Old St. Patrick's Church, 700 West Adams Street, Chicago, IL 60661.  Funeral Mass 10:00 am, Friday, June 15, 2018 at Old St. Patrick's Church, 700 West Adams Street, Chicago, IL 60661.  Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.
