James T. Ryan

James T. Ryan of Arlington Heights, Illinois was born on August 13, 1931 in Chicago and died on February 26, 2017 in Naples, Florida. A native of Chicago's south side, Jim attended DeLaSalle High School, where he played trumpet and led the Jimmy Drake Orchestra. He attended DePaul University where he met his wife, Patricia Beaudoin, who he married in 1956 after serving two years of active duty in the US Navy. He received his MBA from Loyola University and enjoyed a successful career in Industrial Relations.

Jim was the loving husband of Patricia for 61 years; dear father of James T. III (Michelle), Jean Ann (David) Carlquist, Kathryn Mary (Larry) Mudd, and Susan Patricia McLaughlin; cherished Papa for grandchildren Jimmy, Matt, Kelly, Sarah, Kerri, Jesse, David, Beatrice, Molly and Marty. Jim was a faithful friend, a compassionate man with a sense of humor and a strong faith, and a lifelong White Sox and Cardinals fan.

Visitation will be Friday, March 3, 2017 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral mass will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Private interment.
