Jane D. Kannapes, 83 of Wheeling was born August 15, 1932 in Greece to Demetrie and Constantina (nee Valiotis) Panagakis and passed away February 12, 2016. Jane was the loving mother of Mary (Pete) Fraggis, Connie Kannapes, James Kannapes and Sophia (Michael) Rogalevich; cherished grandmother of John Fraggis, Angela (Marion) Kowal, Alexia Rogalevich, Gabriella Rogalevich and Michael Rogalevich Jr. and great-grandmother of Anastasia Fraggis, Annabelle Kowal and Nicholas Fraggis and former wife of Edward Kannapes. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 3-8 PM with a prayer service at 5:00 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Family and friends will gather Thursday, February 18 at 10:00 AM for a graveside service at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E. Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights.
