Jane T. Peacock

Jane was born on December 19, 1940, in Evanston, Illinois, the daughter of Charles Luther and Eleanor Jane (Remley) Temple.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jane is survived by her dear daughter, Jennifer Peacock; granddaughter, Kate Discher; beloved sister, Susan Minarik; many nieces, nephews and cherished friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend who treasured time spent with those she loved. Her compassion, kindness, and sense of humor will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

Jane attended Monmouth College where she started a life long membership with, and support of, Kappa Kappa Gamma. She was an avid reader, a skilled seamstress, and gardening hobbyist whose peonies live on in the gardens of friends and family. Jane also enjoyed traveling the world with her family, her Kappa sisters, or friends made along the way. Whether it was camping and canoeing, riding a moped around a tropical island, touring European castles, or exploring the Mediterranean, Jane was always up for adventure.

Family and friends are invited for the memorial visitation from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
