Janice was a beautiful person and lovelly to work with.  I'm so saddened by your loss and please know I am praying for peace and comfort.  She's flying with the angels now.

I have not seen her for years, which is often the case with this profession, did not remember the name, but as soon as I saw the smile, I remembered and smiled as well.  Condolences to all.

I lost touch with Janice after my retirement in 2012. It was always a fun trip when you knew Janice was one of the crew members. She worked hard but always had a smile on her face. It is if most of us knew her children because she talked so highly and quick to share their stories of success. She will be missed by many.Denise Sattler

My Dear Jane,What a loss and what a pain. You have been a role model, you taught me so much during the 18 months I spent with you. I was in my twenties, full of dreams coming from my French countryside to Chicago, America. I find a sister soul with you. You coached me, you cared about me, we talked and laughed a lot together. Your smile and your face will always be memorable: generous, friendly, joyful, humble, courageous, full of dignity. You were my second Mom while I was away from my home, you were my friend, you called me "kid" all the time. I liked it.... Today, I raise my kids in the spirit I saw you raised yours. Your best legacy Jane is your daughters, beautiful and courageous like you. Jane, one cannot forget you once we cross your road. I am part of this, you left a huge print on who I am today as a woman and as a mother. I miss you and would have loved to hug you.  B.

i am so sorry to hear of the passing of janice.  i will always remember what a delight it was to see her name on the flight list.  janice was an extremely hard worker.  she always had a smile on her face.  i will never forget flying with her.  i am sure this iwill leave a huge void in your family.  but i would like to encourage you with the remembrance of how much your mother loved you.  she did everything to help you within her power.  and at work, she never forgot that her focus was always on you and she couldn't wait to get home to you.  may God carry you during this difficult time as you adjust to a new normal.  please, remember her love for you always.  may the peace of Christ be with you everyday.  blessings

Janice was such a pleasure to know, love and work with..Her laughter made the world a brighter place to be.  Her smile and enthusiasm for life will live on forever in the lives of her beautiful daughters.  Our hearts and prayers go out to her girls and family.

Deepest sympathies for the loss of Jan. I recently flew with her to Honolulu and then Narita. She was delightful. It is hard to believe she is gone. Prayers go out to you all as you deal with the loss of your Mom, Sister and Aunt.

Minton and Christiano family,I am so sorry for your loss. Janice was so kind to me. My mind is flowing with memories. The 1984 summer before I started 8th grade, in particular, I was with Jan for a long duration -- three weeks at Grand Beach. Some of those days involved Doe, Bern, and Michael in town -- many of the days just Jan and me. In theory, many to help renovate the place that summer, but when push came to shove, her and I laughed over and over again, that is was just the two of us holding the paint brushes at the end of each day. One other particularly good laugh I have looking back, is when I called her panicked as a clueless 26-year old starting a career and wrongly read a mandatory business-event invitation as business casual (it actually said business attire). This was in the suburbs, and too late to return to my apartment in the city, when I called Jan. She brought me into Michael's closet, and said well, let's find the newest, most-expensive, and best-looking suit, tie, shoes, and shirt in here. After trying them on -- with Jan's good taste in selecting -- she said, these are now yours permanently as you look so good in them, and that I deserve them most! I will miss her. She was such a nice lady. Her stuffed shells are the single greatest concoction my taste buds have ever encountered. Annie and Morgan, you meant everything to her. Jackie, you were her best friend. My childhood friend -- from Octavia Avenue in Chicago!  Even though you were several years younger than me, I can still remember you saying 'I'll play with 'ya'.  You had the BEST Mom and Dad and have honored your Mom by naming your daughter after her.  Johnny [I'll always call him that] and Jackie, I remember that you were all very close.  Played many baseball games on the corner with Johnny and the other boys and girls on the block  -- remember that there were 26 of us? Babysat with Jackie beginning when she was one.  We always put band aids on your 'boo-boos' and put your hair back up in the pony tail.  It was such a sad shock to see this yesterday, I texted Fred [in North Carolina] and told him, too. Unfortunately, I've moved from Mt. Prospect to Naperville and was unable to come personally to give you both hugs. Hopefully, your excellent cousins Anthony and Francine are helping you come to terms with this.

I was so sorry to hear about Janice. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you go through this difficult time.
