Jean Schinkowsky

of Arlington Heights

Jean Schinkowsky was born on January 17, 1929 in Blue Island, IL, to Clarence and Helen Brinkman. She peacefully went to heaven on Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Arlington Heights.

She worked her entire career and retired as a secretary for Walter Krause in Arlington Heights. She was a founding member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a member for more than 50 years of Palatine American Legion Post #690. Jean loved to spend time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was loved by all.

Jean is survived by her children, Sandy (the late Dan) Stephens and Susan (Anthony) Passannante; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeff) Bunkowske, Jamie (Mike) Abraham, Joni (Erik) Bernert and Jeannie Baldazo; great-grandchildren, Angela (Jerome) Minick, Morgan Grillo, Matthew Abraham, Alex Abraham, Juliana Ruiz, Jocelyn Baldazo, Andrew Bernert and Lily Bernert; sister, Joyce (George) Schwartz; sister-in-law, Hazel Brinkman; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Earl, brother Bill, and her parents.
