Jeanette M. BarberaOf Arlington HeightsJeanette M. Barbera was born on August 4, 1913 in Ramos, LA to John and Lena (nee Inzerello) Cacioppo. She died Sunday, December 27, 2015 in Arlington Heights.Jeanette was an avid crocheter, baker, played many different card games with her family and friends, and shared a wealth of stories of her life. She was also a member of Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. Jeanette loved to spend time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren, and was loved by all. Jeanette is survived by her son, John (Carol) Barbera; grandchildren, Thomas J. (Robin) Barbera and Mary C. (Mark) Alberts; great-grandchildren Jonathan, Loren, Jenelle, Joseph and Lena; siblings, Anthony (Nancy) Cacioppo and Marie (the late Larry) Shaffer; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Thomas A. Barbera; son, Joseph Barbera; her parents; and siblings; Fran (Joseph) Lombardo, Carl (Stephanie) Cacioppo, Dominic (Anne) Cacioppo, and Josephine (Tony) Kirincich. Visitation Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004 proceeding to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Hts., IL 60005 for a 11:00 am Funeral Mass. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
