Jeanette Bierma

Jeanette Bierma, age 94 was born April 6, 1927 in Oaklawn, IL to Peter and Jacoba nee Heeresma Voss and passed away December 5, 2021. Jeanette was the beloved wife of 48 years to the late John Bierma; loving mother of Brenda Bierma and Michael (Peggy) Bierma; cherished grandmother of Mark (Aleta) Bierma and Sara (Arend) VanderHelm; great-grandmother of Katelyn Bierma, Austin Bierma, Joshua Bierma, Anja VanderHelm, and Anika VanderHelm; and fond sister of the late Peter Voss, the late Jake Voss, and the late Clarence Voss.

Jeanette married the love of her life, John Bierma on June 10, 1949. They had a wonderful marriage and were blessed with two children. John sadly passed away in 1997. Jeanette drove a school bus for over 20 years and as a hobby, she loved to garden. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation to be held on December 20, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:00am at The Orchard Evangelical Free Church, 1330 North Douglas Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 with a service at 11:00am. Interment to follow at 2:30pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
