Jeannette A. Golemba

Jeannette was born on June 6th, 1943 to loving parents Stella & John Piochacz in Chicago.

While in college at DePaul University, Jeanette was set up on a blind date for winter formal with Ronald Golemba. She and Ron married in 1964 and welcomed two children to their family, Joe and Judi.

When Jean & Ron retired from the workforce, they began to split their time between their home in East Dundee, Illinois and Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. Jean was very active in her community in Florida where she served as board president of the condo association. Seeing as how Jeanette was also a social butterfly, serving her community did not only bring structural change, but enduring friendships as well.

When Jean was not improving the home lives of her fellow neighbors, she could often be found playing card games; hand & foot canasta & chicken foot being two of her favorites. She loved going to the movies, cooking & baking for her loved ones, and she spent a great deal of time reading fiction.

She is survived by her son Joe (Paula), her daughter Judi (Jeff Doyens), and her grandchildren Amanda and Jonathan (Taylor) and Amanda. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Jean’s honor to support JDRF.
