Jeff Jacoby

Jeff Jacoby, 55, was born on August 1, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jerry and Mary (nee Vachta) Jacoby. He died suddenly on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in Mercer, Wisconsin, doing one of the things he loved doing the most, fishing with his friends.

Jeff was a career police officer. He retired as commander, after 27 years of service with the Des Plaines Police Department and has been employed with the Lake Bluff Police Department since 2020.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Lori (nee Neubauer) Jacoby; his children Jenna and Jake Jacoby; his sister, Michelle (Paul) Myer; his brothers-in-law Tim and Steve Neubauer and his sister-in-law, Lisa Neubauer; his niece Ashley Neubauer, and his nephews, Ryan and Kevin Neubauer.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral service 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Funeral Home. Interment following at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
