Jeraldine K. Assadi, 83, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023 in Arlington Heights, IL. She was born on October 26, 1939 in Chicago, IL to John and Jean Kunio. Jeri married Farro “Ed” Assadi.
Jeri is survived by her husband; children Michelle Otte and Christine Pruban; grandchildren Jessica Pruban, Jack Pruban, Konrad Ohrtman, and Max Ohrtman; siblings John Kunio and Bob Kunio.
Jeri was a loving parent and spouse. She was a dedicated educator with over 30 years of service teaching students to read. She was a known card and slots enthusiast; she practiced Pilates and relished trying new recipes to share with her friends and family.
A celebration of life service will be held in Jeri’s honor from 2pm-4pm on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Lauterburg-Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Support and Pray for Ukraine though the St. Joseph the Betrothed Ukrainian Catholic.
