Jerry R. Handlon, 76 of Schaumburg, former Executive Director of the Schaumburg Park District, was born December 11, 1938 in Chicago to the late William Maurice and Marion (nee Pavel) Handlon and passed away April 26, 2015. Jerry was the beloved husband of Barbara A. nee Beck; loving father of James M. (Sandra) Tucci, Josephine (Robert Sellars) O’Hanlon Tucci and Cristin M. Handlon; cherished grandfather of Alexandra, Lara, Marc, Charlie, Hank, Sam and Madeline and dear brother of Joan (late Tom) Cavanaugh and the late James Handlon and Jean (late Robert) O’Leary. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service 1:00 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
