

Jessica Jan Cochran, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away at her home on November 26, 2023, at the age of 29. She was born on March 29, 1994, in Arlington Heights, Illinois to Michelle Lynn Fardig and James Robert Cochran.
A 2012 graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Jessica continued her education at Northern Michigan University. She dedicated her time and skills to the healthcare industry, working as a Patient Care Technician at Northwest Community Hospital where she compassionately cared for patients. Jessica's passion for helping others extended beyond her profession, as she was known for being a nurturing and adventurous soul who always lent a helping hand.
Jessica was an animal lover, sharing her home with her beloved dog, Bandit, and cats, Willow, Jasper, and Tux. In addition to being an animal lover, she also had a talent for dog grooming, even becoming certified. She had a zest for life and embraced various activities, including water skiing, snowmobiling, and participating in competitive cheerleading. Her high energy and love for adventures always brought smiles to those around her.
With hard work and determination, Jessica was able to overcome tremendous challenges in her life. Like many, she was a recovering addict who spent the last year sober. She used her struggles to appreciate and care for all in her life.
Jessica leaves behind a loving family, including her mother Michelle & Mike Karpinski, her father James Cochran and step-mom Janet Vogel; her sisters Kaitlyn and Jaime Cochran; and her partner Bri Basham. She will forever be remembered for her fun- loving and silly spirit, which brought joy to every gathering.
A Celebration/memorial of Jessica's Life will be held at 3:00 pm on December 3, 2023, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Jessica's family will receive guests from Noon until the remembrance begins at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to: AAFA Asthma and AllergyFoundation of America or ASPCA The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Jessica Jan Cochran will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Her family asks that you remember her as the loudest laugh in the room and the tightest hug.
