Joanne Pappas was born on January 5, 1966 in Park Ridge, Illinois to William and Judith (nee Schultz) Ristow. She died Thursday, April 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Joanne worked at Motorola and Forum Co. for a combined 12 years as a Corporate Training Executive.

Joanne is survived by her spouse of 28 years John W. Pappas; her children Alec J. Pappas and Nicole R. Pappas; her siblings Susan (Stephen) Reilly and Greta (Todd) Palmberg; she is also survived by her God-children Lauren Reilly and Parker Pappas as well as nephews Andrew Palmberg, Billy Pappas, Nikko Pappas, Peter Pappas, Eric Reilly, Parker Pappas and nieces Lauren Reilly, Olympia Pappas, and Alexis Pappas.

She was preceded in death by her beloved brother Richard Ristow.

Memorial Visitation Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 3:00pm until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 7:00pm at Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Immediate family interment will take place on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 11:00am at Memory Gardens Cemetery 2501 East Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Saint Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church and Laconian Foundation.
