John J. Annel was born on May 13, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Ted and Peg (nee Erskine) Annel. He died on September 8, 2022 at home surrounded by his living family.

John is survived by his wife Pamela (nee Kachigian) Annel; his son Joe (fiancé Ashley Nicholson) Annel; his sisters Maryanne (John) McGough and Loretta (late Daryl) Lorek; as well as his brother-in-law Jeff Kachigian.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother James Annel.

Visitation Monday, September 12, 2022 from 4:00pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:00pm at the Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. There will be another Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 10:00am until the time of the procession at 10:45am proceeding to Memory Gardens Cemetery 2501 E. Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 for a Graveside Committal Service at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to The Salvation Army, Office Of Planned Giving, 5040 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60630-2788
