John A. Doyle

John A. Doyle, 90, of Arlington Heights was born August 13, 1924 in Chicago, IL to the late Howard M. and Lenore (nee Fallon) Doyle-Rettig and passed away December 18, 2014. John was the loving husband of the late Lucille (nee Shill) Doyle; beloved father of the late Linda (late Peter) Long and the late Patricia Ann Doyle; doting grandfather of Scott Long, Tricia Long, Tori Long and Tracy (Richard) Nass; great grandfather of Jameson Richard Nass, Addie Lue Nass, Eleanor Linda Nass and Jocelyn Patricia Long; dear brother of Raymond (Carol) Fallon and the late Kathleen (late John) LaSpisa and the late Thomas Patrick Doyle. Mr. Doyle is also survived by his loving companion Alice Farquhar and many nieces, nephews and their children. He was a good friend to many. Mr. Doyle was a graduate of Loyola University, Chicago, IL where he received his undergraduate degree and a Juris Doctor Degree. He was a prominent trial attorney, the first resident city attorney of the City of Rolling Meadows, IL, and a founding member and past president of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association. Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 2014 from 4-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home 2000 E. Northwest Highway Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said Tuesday, December 23 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and proceed to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights for funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Masses appreciated or contributions in John Doyle’s name may be made to your favorite charity.
