John W. Harding

John earned a degree in mathematics from Western Illinois University, went on to earn a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Iowa, and enjoyed a long career as an actuary.

John is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Harding; his children, Erin (Christopher) Kobiljak and John Harding, Jr.; his grandchildren, Zoe and Samantha Kobiljak; his sister, Jane Erickson; his nieces, Sarah Ashley and Julie Cadwell; and several great nieces and nephews.

John relished spending time with his family. He never missed fishing in the annual bass run on the Wolf River in Wisconsin. He loved playing golf with friends at local golf courses. He was an avid bridge player and loved trying out new recipes for his friends and family. He will be dearly missed.

A celebration of life will be held for friends and family at a later date.
