John Kevin Hauber

Of McHenry

John Kevin Hauber, formerly of Buffalo Grove, was born on January 6, 1967 to Jack and Betty (nee Hianyik) Hauber of Buffalo Grove. He passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 after a long battle with Colon Cancer.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; his daughters, Kaitlyn, Brooklyn, Nicole, and Megan; his sisters, Pamela (the late Bill) Chapman, Cynthia (Robert) Puoci, and Cheryl Hauber; his twin brother James Patrick (Susan) Hauber; nieces, Brittany (Ryan) Evans and Jacqueline Puoci; nephews, Adam Chapman, Robert Puoci III, Anthony Puoci, Alexander Puoci and Jack Hauber; and many family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Arthur Hauber.

John was a 23-year firefighter/paramedic with the Buffalo Grove Fire Department and also had served the Prospect Heights and Long Grove Fire Departments.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights, Illinois. Prayers 9:30 am, Friday, February 2, 2018 at Glueckert Funeral Home proceeding to St. Mary Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove for Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Interment Private.
