John E. Pawelek was born February 5, 1934 in Chicago to John and Harriet (nee Niemczura) Pawelek. He died February 24, 2024 at Healthbridge of Arlington Heights.
John is survived by his wife Connie (nee Klimek) Pawelek; his daughters Theresa Pawelek, Carolyn (Tom) Masloske, Catherine Pawelek and Janet (Jason) Schmidt; his grandchildren Sarah, Michael, Jenna and Jocelyn.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Lottie (late Emil) Wlodyga, Adeline Pawelek and Edward Pawelek and by his parents.
Visitation Friday, March 1, 2024 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 3:00 pm until 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Journey Care Hospice, 2050 Claire Court, Glenview, IL 60025.
