John R. "Jack" Sheehan

John R. “Jack” Sheehan, 93, of Arlington Heights was born February 13, 1923 in Louisville, KY to John H. and Mary (nee Schuler) Sheehan and passed away December 26, 2016. Jack was the beloved husband of the late Maureen M. Sheehan; loving father of Timothy (Marta) Sheehan, Terrence (Anne) Sheehan, Sue (Jim) Szymczak and the late Kevin (Tina) Sheehan; cherished grandfather of Tom (Nikki) Sheehan, Dan (Ellen) Sheehan, Bridget Sheehan, Erin Paulson (Zack) Ruef, Patrick (Katie) Sheehan, John (Jennifer) Sheehan, Michael (Lindsey) Szymczak, Steven Szymczak, Sarah Szymczak, Collin Sheehan, Breanna Sheehan and Rachel Sheehan; great-grandfather Jack, Kate, Connor, Aidan, Nora, Colleen, Colin, Claire, Joanie and Paul and dear brother of the late Alice Brotzge, Dorothy English, Robert (Patricia) Sheehan and Evelyn True. Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said Friday, January 6 at 8:45 AM at the funeral home and proceed to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell Street, Arlington Heights for funeral mass at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
