John is survived by his wife, Janet (nee Rank) Spaletto; his sons, Kurt (Krista) and Karl Spaletto; his grandchildren Samuel, Aaron, and Grace Spaletto; and his sisters, Christine (Ned Laff) Spaletto and Dori Strecker.
In addition to his parents, his brother William preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1150 N. Hicks Rd., Palatine, IL 60067. Visitation with the family begins at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
