He died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in Park Ridge.John loved traveling back to Scotland and spending time with his family and friends.John is survived by his daughter Adele (Joseph) Gattuso; grandchildren, Stacey Gattuso, Courtney (Eric) Viergutz and Anthony (Jennifer) Gattuso; and great-grandchild, Charlie Viergutz; brother-in-law of Ellen Loftus and John (Margaret) McLuskey.He was preceded in death by his wife Delia, whom he married April 27, 1945 in Glasgow, Scotland and his parents.Visitation 9:00 am Saturday, October 18, 2014 until the 11:00 am Prayer Service at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd.,1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) , Arlington Heights. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
