Joseph S. Luke

Of Arlington Heights  

Joseph S. Luke was born May 9, 1919 in Chicago to Joseph F. and Julia (nee Kryski) Lukawszczyk.  He died August 31, 2017 at Alexian Brothers Hospice in Elk Grove Village.

 Joseph was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus and the Boy Scouts of America.  He had a long and rich employment history.    

Joseph is survived by his children Valerie Yoder, Linda (John) Bekas, Joe Luke, John (Laura) Luke, Marilyn (Don) Sakosky, Ray (Jennifer) Luke, Laurie (Pat) Gorney, Marianne Luke and Rob (Dorothy) Luke; his 24 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. 

Joseph is preceded in death by his wife Leona M. (nee Rozycki) Luke; his siblings Helen (late Edward) Pacanowski, Stephanie (late Stanley) Chwierut and Stanley Lukawszczyk and by his parents.  

Visitation Friday, September 1, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights and Saturday, September 2, 2017 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 700 S.
