Judge James A. Horn

Judge James A. Horn was born April 1, 1946 in Chicago. He died November 7, 2017 after a long illness.  Jim is survived by his loving wife Suzanne (nee Sullivan) Horn. 

Judge Horn was in private law practice until he was appointed a United States Federal Administrative Law Judge in 1981.  He retired in 2016.

He is survived by his brother in law Thomas (Donna) Sullivan; his sister in laws Sandra (David) Hall and Sheila (William) Beckeman; and by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephew. 

Jim is preceded in death by his parents E. Allen and Maureen (nee Shinners) Horn and by his loving aunt Virgila Deacon.   

Visitation Friday, November 10, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.  Interment private.
